Pet Care Services

This is a brief, 10-15 minute drop-in visit. Ideal for pets who need a quick potty break or check-in.

A visit ranges from 18-30 minutes. Duration dependent on requested tasks and animal participation. This service applies to any indoor pets that need attention, feeding, or maintenance. This can also apply to letting dogs out in the backyard for a potty break.

Please note: this is not a dog walk – see below.

Dog walks last between 20-30 minutes. Duration is dependent on weather, pet interest, and/or ability. This is a leash walk service provided in a client’s yard, neighborhood, or road. Client must provide proper equipment, including collar and/or harness and a leash. Dogs must be accustomed to being walked on a leash and must do so calmly and safely.

An extended visit or walk lasts between 45 minutes and 1 hour. Duration is dependent on requested services, pet needs, and pet participation/interest. This service applies to all indoor pets (dogs, cats, etc.) that require additional time beyond a shorter visit. This service can also be applied to a leash walk, play-time, meal prep/feeding, and extended supervision and attention with your pet.

This service is for pets who require additional time spent over the 1-hour visit. We offer “pet-sitting by the hour” options when available. This service is charged by the hour and is ideal for puppies, geriatric pets, and pets with health issues and/or medical conditions. This service provides your pet with additional time, love, and attention.

This service is provided in the client’s home, and includes evening care and an overnight stay (a Woof & Hoof team member sleeping over in the client’s home). This service is typically 10-12 hours (i.e. 7pm-7am or 10pm-8am.) We charge for this service per night, with all other aspects of your pet’s daily care provided as additional visits or walks. Additional visits/walks and daily care will be charged a la carte.

Please note: THIS IS NOT 24-HOUR CARE. Our sitters come and go throughout the day and evening to tend to other clients. During our initial Meet & Greet, we will discuss your pet’s needs and your expectations to determine a schedule that covers all aspects of your pet’s daily routine. We require that your pet is able to be left alone for at least 3-5 hours at a time in order to be eligible for this service.

This service includes pick-up and drop-off; client drop-offs are not permitted at this time. We keep our play groups small, with only 10-15 dogs per group. All dogs who participate must be spayed/neutered, and up to date on all vaccines – including Rabies, Distemper, & Bordetella (vaccine records required). This is an outdoor doggie daycare program. While we do operate in all seasons, we are largely weather dependent and may need to make special accommodations dependent on the weather. This does mean that occasionally, we may need to tweak the hours of operation or even close due to inclement weather.*

*We loosely follow the local school district’s inclement weather closing protocols during the winter months.

Transportation for your pet to local vet and groomer appointments. Price is dependent on the type of pet being transported, time requested, duration of transport, pet location, and mileage/gas/tolls. This service typically has a service fee, as well as mileage fees ($0.60/mile), tolls, and taxes. Please inquire for specific pricing.

Woof & Hoof is able to offer Basic Obedience Training as a custom add-on service for clients with a dog or puppy. Please inquire for details, specific pricing, and availability.

Woof & Hoof is partnered with Pampered Pooch Grooming, a great local groomer, and able to provide special access to grooming appointments and transportation to and from appointments. We also offer two monthly Woof & Hoof Spa Days at Pampered Pooch, where appointments are reserved specifically for walk and doggie daycare clients. Transportation is provided on those days.
